Dear Jim, I am very interested in getting the family history of the Langtons of Kilkenny that you mentioned - eg the family tree going back to Stephen Langton would be really great to get hold of. My great grandfather was a John Langton who emmigrated to Australia sometime in the 1850's we think. His father was also John Langton and his mother was Ann Langton (nee Coogan). My great grandfather had eight children when he came to Australia interestingly one of them was named Jim and my mum's brother was also called Jim Langton so the name carried on out here also.Some previous searches that I carried out showed that my great,great grandfather (another John Langton) married Anne Coogan on the 19th February,1832 in the Catholic Church in the Parish of Muckalee. Their witnesses were John and Bridget Clear. Regards, Sandy
