I am a descendant of George LANGTON, through son John.
Per my searches, and assistance from Shirley Wilcox LANGDON, and a search conducted, by Dr. Samuel LANGDON, from 1896 -1906 I have learned that Deliverance LANGTON was one of 5 or 7 children of George LANGTON and his 1st wife (Name unknown).

George married Hannah HAYNES (widow of Edmond Haynes)in Springfield, MA on 29 June 1648. They had one child; Hester.

Chilren of George LANGTON:

John, b. ca 1624, England
Deliverance,b. 22 Sep 1627, England, died 10 June 1718, Suffield, Hartford, CT.
Esther, b. ca 1635, England
Hannah, b. ca 1629, England, died 17 Sep 1690, Northampton, Hamshire, MA
Corber (Corbee), b. ca 1631, England. There is confusion here regarding this child as Corber or Corbee may be a married name.
Bridget, b ca 1633, England
Miss Langton, b. ca 1625, England

George came to Wethersfield, CT abt 1640, supposedly from England. I cannot locate any record of him before 1640.

Hope this helps.

if anybody has information on George before 1640 I will appreciate hearing from you.

Joe Langdon
