Hello Robert
You have an amazingly distinguished set of ancestors. Clearly the Langmead part of your family tree does coincide with the same geographical area as mine and much of the Langmead family. You may be interested to hear that there is a book in private publication about the Langmead family, other branches of which also ended up some distance away from Devon.

If you would like details of this book contact me on e-mail address By the way , the Langmead men were often called William. My own father comes from a line of Williams which start with Wiiliam born 1787 in Charles Parish Devon.
