Gilles, Thank you for your information. However, I am wondering where you got the dates for William's birth and death. My father has an obituary that he obtained from the historical society of Curry County, Oregon. It states that he was born in September, 1809 on the Isle of Guernsey and died June 6, 1881 in Curry County at Floras Creek just south of present day Langlois, Oregon. He was buried on his property. I have a similar marriage date to Mary King of 1844. Kathy
