Any person who is a descendant of Jacques Langlois and Marie Joseph Dupont, Joseoph Langlois and Rose Gagnon, and Clement Langlois and Marie-Anne Prevost will be accepted as an Algonquin of Ontario. All that is needed is documentation
proving each generational link. There is no cost involved. Applications can be obtained form any Algonquin band office. They can be contacted by e-mail or phone, which is supplied on their web sites. This new Algonquin line was started with the Mattawa/North Bay Algonquins.
