Although I have some slightly different dates from you for Margaret Jane Elliott and her husband, Henry Charles Langlois of Baltimore, Maryland, and Clarence, I have researched the same family. I will outline my Langlois information for you. Henry Charles and Margaret had nine children, including Clarence Alfred Langlois. I will provide a brief outline here from my research. The parents of Henry Charles Langlois were Amice Langlois (b. about 1807) married Judith Mowbray (b. 3 Oct. 1802, St. Peter Port, Guernsey). They had nine children. Amice's father was Amice, baptized 02 Oct. 1785. He married Elizabeth LeLievre on August 14, 1806. The parents of this second Amice were Joseph Langlois (bapt. 12 Aug. 1744; buried 04 Aug. 1823) and Elizabeth Vautier, married 14 Feb. 1773. Joseph's parents were Philippe Langlois (bapt. 31 July 1710, St. Ouen, Jersey; buried 04 April 1763) and Jeanne Le Ruez. Philippe's parents were Mathieu Langlois (bapt. 08 Jan. 1681, St. Ouen, Jersey; buried 27 Jan 1741) and Marie Le Boutillier (married 24 July 1709). The parents of this Mathieu Langlois were Mathieu (again), bapt. 30 July 1654, St. Ouen, Jersey; buried 08 Feb 1737; m. Rachel Mollet on 20 Oct. 1678. Mathieu's parents were Thomas Langlois (buried 20 Feb. 1690, St. Ouen, Isle of Jersey) and Marie Vautier (m. 6 July 1644). Thomas' father was Mathieu Langlois.
