In the mid 1970's, I was acquainted with an Otis Langley who was born in Lucedale, MS on May 12, 1907. He was living alone in Stockton, CA at the time. He had at least one son, but never really spoke about the son or about his wife. At the age of 70, Otis was still working as a wallpaper hanger, and his work was superb -- he had an eye for patterns that the average person didn't have. He was a Veteran and had a passion for fishing (in fact he taught me to fish). Otis was the oldest child of Rufus Nathaniel Langley and Elsie Delia Zera Daughtry Crenshaw (sometimes referred to as Delilah Crenshaw), both of Lucedale, MS. Otis Langley passed away on August 23, 1982 in Stockton, CA.
