Afraid this won't help in your search, but as an aside, I wanted to let you know that my grandfather, Frank Langille, b. 1893 in Tatamagouche (French River), N.S., spent a few years working in Boston prior to returning to NS and joining the Royal Navy with his brother Fred in 1916.
