Hello! Thankyou so much for your reply! We are connected somehow through the generations since it is true that the Langilles and Patriquins have been inter-married many times, as you say. There were just the two "Petrequin" brothers that came over from Montebeliard and I'm trying to trace our tree to find which one is our ancestor. I have a copy of Gary Patriquin's book on the tree back to 1719 when Jean Petrequin was born in Longevelle, Montebeliard. Grandfather, George William, orphaned at 18 months in Pennsylvania. His father was known as William George Patriquin from Nova Scotia, b. 1854. I say "known as" because we can only find George William's in book. No records seem to exist for a Wm Geo. I posted for info on Martha Ellen Langille because we have a birth date match on (Wm?) Geo through marraige to him in 1877(?). There is no history of either of them after. Do you have any information on Martha? If so, info on any child or children? We could be up the wrong tree :) if they have history in N.S. after 1877. Happy hunting to you too, cousin
