Thank you.

I wonder if Jacob was the same as Jacob Langille, born July 28 1824 in Martins River, son of John William Langille (1799-1873) & Hannah Smeltzer. That Jacob is listed as an illegitamate son of John William Langille and Hannah Smeltzer, while William was still married to Mary Keddy. Scott Teal's Langille family database states that this Jacob lived in Liscomb, Guysborough Co, N.S. He is always been known and listed as Philip Longel, and is the ancestor of the Langilles from Liscomb.

I wonder if Jacob & Philip are actually 2 people, Philip stayed in Liscombe (son of John William Langille & Mary Keddy), and Jacob moved to York, Maine (son of the same John William Langille (1799-1873) & Hannah Smeltzer)
