After over a year and nine months of looking for my genealogy I hit pay dirt and found out all about my grandmother and her family all the way back 12 generations from a researcher on Langille ancestery. His name is Chris Young and we are cousins. Now that I know their names I can use the info you gave me on the Langille genealogy forum
By the way I will give you a quick run down just incase you spot anyone who is related to me and wants some info.
My grandmother was (Hope) Minola Blanch Langille and her parents were James Albert Langille and Adelaide Ida Levy. James's parents were Alfred Frank Langille(he built the first Tancook Whaler in 1880) and Margaret Thompson. Alfred's parents were John David Langille and Elizabeth Mader. John's parents were John David Langille and Mary Gertrude Boucher. John's parents were Jean Pierre Langille and Anna Elisabeth Kraus or Crouse.
Jean's parents were Leopold Frederic Langille and Marguerite Sandoz. Leopold's parents were David Langille and Catherine Boutenot. David's parents were Daniel Languilles and Francoise Prenot or Perrenot. I only have Daniels father listed back in 1632 as Daniel with no mothers name listed.
I also found out that Leopold Frederic came over on the Betty in 1752 and settled in Nova Scotia from Montbeliard France.
By the way I found out my Uncle Albert Roy Langille was a Pentecostal Pastor and married Margaret Rafuse. Now I am going to find out the name of the church and its location.
I also found out all about the Levy's. Adelaide Ida Levy goes all the way back to Issac Levy a Spanish Jew and his great great grandson Jonathan Levy who also went by the name Nathan who was from Philadelphia and moved to Nova Scotia back in the mid 1700's and married a Christian named Sarah Dunn. Sarah has the oldest tombstone in the Old Baptist Cemetery in Chester NS. Adelaide Ida would be Jonathan's great great great great granddaughter. My great grandmother is Adelaide Levy on my paternal grandmothers side.
I know it was long ago that we emailed each other but I wanted to Thank you.
