Katharine...Thank you for your response. I suppose it is possible that the unknown child you mention is Corah Blanche McKeand. She was born in 1885, however, there is another daughter, Christy, who was born to Alexander and Mary Ann (McKeand) Langille in April 20, 1888 according to Census data. My mother remembers her. Problem is, there is another Christy (Christina Jane) born to Alexander and Christine (McBurnie) Langille in 1871 and she lived until 1972!!! I don't know which one my mother knew!!

I have a question about Christie McBurnie. Do you know what happened to her? Did Alexander and her divorce or did she die? I don't have a death date for her. According to information I have, she gave birth to Beldon Treen Langille in 1873 (her last child) and she shows up in the 1881 census (47 years old) but not in 1891. If you prefer to correspond with me via e-mail, you can contact me at "arabian118@aol.com".

Regards,

Dan
