Jeremiah Langhorne - who is he?

Jeremiah was from Middletown, Pa. and made his will in 1742, he had a sister Sarah who was married to William Biles. I dont think he was married as no children were mentioned in his will, only nieces and nephews etc. Does anyone know this name? His will mentions two "kinsmen" Thomas Langhorn(e) "now or late in the service of Lord Lonsdale" and Wm. Jackson, Woolen Draper of London. Both of these men received 250 acres. He was apparently wealthy. The names Biles, Growden, Pennington and Janney are mentioned as descendants. I believe he was a lawyer.
