Hello Dick Brown,

Elizabeth sounds like a langevin
I would be interested in knowing a little more about your family

I am sorry I didnt get to you reply sooner

I too have family living in the new england areas (southbridge,Worcester,MA,) (putnam & thompson, windham CT,)

I think your last name (LANGWAY or LONGWIN)really could be a phonetic variation of Langevin (it makes since to me)

Recorders commonly spelled/misspelled words & names how they sounded

whole family histories have been confused as a result of it

besides the Langevin name is a commonly misspelled &/or pronounced last name

I truly hope to hear back from you soon
Best Regards,
Daniel Langevin
PS.
I am willing to exchange information with you.
