Ancestry DNA is having a 40% sale now through December 31st. A Y-DNA test of 33 markers is now only $89.40 and a 46 marker Y-DNA test is $119.40. These would make great Christmas gifts. Although most of the Langdons have been tested through FamilyTree DNA, at least one person had their testing through Ancestry. The core tested markers are the same for both companies. As the number of markers expands the two companies test slightly different markers, but there are enough tested by both companies that useful comparisons can be made. To order, on the Ancestry.com web page, click on the tab that says DNA.
