It would be helpful to you to know that your phonectic spelling of place in Ireland is
BALLINA, NORTH COUNTY MAYO...USUALLY PEOPLE ARE FROM TOWNLANDS OR TOWNS...MOSTLY TOWNLANDS WHICH ARE SIMILAR TO OUR TOWNSHIPS- SO YOU NEED TO FIND THE TOWNLAND. BALLINA IS SISTER CITY TO WILKESBARRE, LUZERNE CO PA. CEMETERY RECORD MAY LIST TOWNLAND- IN THE OFFICE - SOMETIMES ON THE STONE.
MOST OF WILKESBARRE RECORDS WERE LOST IN A FLOOD; IF YOU ARE LUCKY IT WILL BE A SURROUNDING PLACE IN THAT AREA.
