hello maureen,
this is weird talking to somone with the same name as me. i thought that they broke the mold when i was born, ha ha. i live in birmingham england but my dad tells me that his family came from mayo originally and he lived in balbriggan which is county dublin, flemingstown to be exact, with his parents and sisters and brother,(this is approx 18-20 miles on the northside of dublin).where do you live? do you have any info on your family that might link into my family? we also found info saying that langan meant long or tall as in tall ships possibly when the vikings came to ireland. let me know anything you think may interest me and my family. thanks.

maureen.
