Info in Family Puzzlers- Nov 24, 1977-No. 527 p 9-
I have a copy of this reference material that I have had a long time and want to get rid of.
This pertains to the Bible record of Frederich Wilhelm Lange of Buchsweler, Lower Elsass, Germany that apparently was in possession of Mrs. Dorothy Campbell, of Oklahoma City- This article had been published in The Canadian County Genealogical Society Newsletterdated December 1976- and included a partial translation of this old German bible- This is not my family. I am not related in anyway, but am adding this to your Genforum in case you do not have it. It was published in this volume of Family Puzzlers-

Fredich Wilhelm Lange- b Oct 5, 1764- at Bouxwillermarried 1789 to M. Catherine Zelbach in Baltimore, MD- Served as Lutheran pastor at Somerset Co. Md and died after 1813, buried in Somerset Co. MD Cemetery.
The family chart is said to have been submitted by a Mrs Gentry of Austin, Texas from a chart sent to her by a member of the Cercle Genealogique d'Alcase, Archives du Bas Rhin. It implies that this family was Alsatians who emigrated abroad from the Port of Hambourg, Germany so they claimed to be Germans-and that Bouxwiller was not lying in Germany, but was actually in Alcase and made reference to the Alsatian emigration. The Bible of Frederich Wilhelm Lange included description of the trip across the Atlantic ending with a shipwreck off Okracoke Island, NC in 1787.
As I said, this is not my family and I have no further info on them- Hope this helps someone-
