LANE, born 1844 MS John E. LANE, born 1847 MS By 1880, John W. LANE is apparently deceased and Eliza is misidentified in the 1880 Census of Van Buren Co. as Eliza LOVE with 2 children still in the household, Nancy E. (born 1864) and Alley (born 1859). also in the household is her married daughter (widowed or divorced?) Annie E. also misidentified as Annie E. Owens and her daughter Josephine "Owens". Their last name should be BELL. Annie had married Hugh Bell, born 1851: Marriage Records- Hugh Bell married Annie E. Lane 12 June 1870 in Van Buren Co., AR. By 1883, Annie married Samuel D. Luten (marriage records) Samuel D. Luten married Annie Bell 5 March 1883 in Van Buren Co., AR. By 1900, Annie and Samuel D. Luten are in TX and by 1910, they are in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto Co., TX. Samuel D. Luten died in 1917 and is buried in the Staggs Prairie Cem. near Mineral Wells and the 1920 Census, shows Annie Luten living in her daughter Mary Josephine (Josie) Bell Moore's household. Annie died in the 1920's and is also buried in Staggs Prairie Cem. Did Hugh Bell die or did he leave Annie? I find a Hugh Bell in Dallas Co., TX with a new wife and 6 yr. old son.
