Landrums in Macon County, Alabama

I'm looking for infomation on Landrums who may have been in Macon County, Alabama in 1840 and 1850.

The 1840 census index lists Samuel and Zacriah "Landrem".

The 1850 census index lists George "Landram", born about 1770 in North Carolina, living in the Susan Mc Leod household.

The 1850 census index lists "E. Landrum", born about 1812 in North Carolina, with a wife named Jane, born about 1814 in North Carolina, plus several children, all born in Georgia or Alabama.

The actual census images are a little hard to read. May or may not be "Landrum". The "E." Landrum may be "Z" Landrum.

I could not find any of these people on any 1860 census.

Any info on these folks would be appreciated.

Jack
