I am the grandaughter of Charles (Chas) Henry Landrum and I'm trying to find out more about him. I know that he was born in 1880, although I don't know where. I have heard that he was a widower with grown children when he re-married, to my grandmother. (My father told me that one of his daughters was named Joncey Theron Newton.) My grandmother's maiden name was Lois Coker and they were married in Butler County, Alabama in 1926. Chas Landrum died a year or so later from anthrax. He owned cattle and had some type of grocery, which I am pretty sure was in Greenville, Alabama. He died when my father was an infant.
