Need help, with obtaining copies of death certificates, marriage licences anything to further our research on the following family members. Should I write to the State of Oklahoma, the County or to a locial genealogy center? Please help with addresses.
1920 census living in Hulbert Twp, Cherokee Co., OK
Ruth Rea 11, was living with step father, Charles Mitchell and mother Emma (Rea) Mitchell and sister, Jessie E. Rea.
Ruth Agness Rea married ..? Landrum about 1925-7 and divorced by 1930 census. A daughter Ethel E. Landrum born about 1927.
1930 census living in Collinsville, Tulsa Co., OK, Ruth A. Rea Landrum, divorced with 3 yr. child Ethel E. Landrum also mother, Emma Mitchell.
Our family bible notes that on February 20, 1932, mother Emily K. "Emma" Rea Mitchell died. We do not know where in Oklahoma.
All help will be greatly appreciated.
