Looking for information on William Jasper and Mary Landrum family.
William was born in possibly Barbour or Dallas County, Alabama June 1848, son of Sam Daniel Landrum and Missouri Weeks. William's wife, Mary Hamilton was born in Texas April of 1867.
I have notes that say they had 13 children but I have only 7 listed as being born in Cookville, Titus County, Texas.
They are:
Witkerson, Aug 1885,
Ben G., Dec 1887, died ? Texas,
Sam D (Daniel?), 18 Feb 1890, died 3 Jan 1961,
Talbot G., May 1892, died 22 Aug 1973 in Titus County, Texas,
Orea Albert b 7 July 1894 d 15 Aug 1970, Titus County, Texas,
Pearl B born May 1900, and
Sadie D born about 1903.
Would like to finish filling in this branch of my tree if anyone has more information to share on any one of those listed and perhaps add the additional children.
I'm needing births, deaths, marriages, obituaries and cemetery listings.
My great grandfather was Benjamin Lawrence Landrum, brother to William Jasper. Benjamin Lawrence, aka 'Uncle Ben' was born in Alabama and died 7 June 1935 at his home in Cookville, Titus County, Texas.
