I'd like to add some more to what I've already posted on Thomas Landrum. He was born 6 Oct. 1759 in Orange Co. Va. as he stated on his Rev. War pension application. He enlisted 23 Feb. 1778 and served as a private in Va. under Capt. Burnley, Libscomb, Col. Heath, Parker, and Morgan. He also served as a Col. in the Ga. Troops, War of 1812. He died in Oglethorpe Co. Ga on 13 April 1833 and that came from the minutes of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Ogle. County. His will was probated May term of 1833, and in it he names his wife Nancy and his sister Elizabeth Landrum. His children named were Elizabeth Brockman, John, James B., Mary Norton, William, Joseph, Whitfield, Hay T., Nancy Jennings, and Sarah B. Wray. That was found in Will Book D page 6 of Ogle. County. All of Thomas's children are named in Shedd's book on page 90 and he gives theirs births and to whom they married. I do have a few corrections - Shedd did not give James B. Landrums 2nd wife who was Susan Stroud and date of marriage was 16 July 1838. Mary married William Norton (not Willard Norton), and Nancy B. married Henry Jennings (not Thomas Williams). In my earlier post I forgot to tell to whom John Landrum's children married, so here goes. Children of John and Elizabeth Landrum 1.Thomas B. m. Manervy Tarpley 2.James M. m. 1st Mary Bryant & 2nd Sarah Mahala Underwood 3.John Lumpkin m. Jennette Birdsong 4. Dorcas Y. m. John A. Wells 5. Nancy B. m. Thomas Williams 6. Adaline m. Samuel McClain 7. Martha m. Robert Scoggins 8. Mary H. m. John Atkinson 9. Elizabeth A. m. James Atkinson 10. Sarah N. m. Rohow Andrews 11. Susan m. Edward Powell John Landrum died around 1836 and his wife Elizabeth administered on his estate. Well I hope this helps someone interested in this line. Naomi
