I wondering that as well! He looks so much like my grandma's Landis side of the family. My grandma told us "we are Pennsylvania Dutch" and I did not know what that meant until much later. She showed my brother a old photo of barn raising with Mennonite/Amish men in it and said "that is your family". I think all of Landis kin are kin to Floyd.

My grandma----Marguerite Landis-----my ggrandfather----Henry Landis----my ggrandfather----John Landis--(he was from New Jersey) I have not got any more info past that point.

If anyone knows more, please let me know!
