I am the wife of Gary Landean, son of Elmer G. Landean (1915-1990). Elmer was the son of Andrew Hjalmar (went by Hjalmar) Landin (1880-1909) and Annie Augusta Sofia Peterson (1889-1983).
Bengt Svenson Landin (1839-1912) and Marian B. (Barbara Marie) Johnson (1845-1894) were the parents of Hjalmar Landin (sometimes spelled Landeen or Landean). Bengt was married to Elzabeth Anderson after his first wife's death.
Bengt's parents were Svenson Landin (1799-1852) and Svenberg Bengtsdotter (1800-1866).

Svenson Landin: b. Loshulta Ragebode Kirstianstad, Sweden; m. Orkend Kristianstad, Sweden; d. Kungsgarden Orkend Kristianstad, Sweden.
Svenberg Bengtsdotter: Varmanshult Orkend Kristianstad, Sweden. d. Kungsgarden Orkend Kristianstad, Sweden.
Bengt Svenson Landin: b. Okne Christiaansto?, Sweden; d. New Sweden, Maine, USA.
Marian B. Johnson b. Hedenstad, Norway; d. New Sweden, Maine USA.
Annie Augusta Sofia Peterson: b. Veslanda Konobergs, Sweden; m. New Sweden, Maine, USA; d. Caribou, Maine USA.
Andrew Hjalmar Landin: b. New Sweden, Maine, USA
There are family members who are descendants of these Landins who spell their surname either Landeen or Landean - matter of fact, my in-laws spell it both ways.
