Hello Lisa, I saw your posting this evening about the Wilhelm/William Balke and Dora Lampe Wedding. I am interested in it although I have the record that was in the courthouse. I would like to have a copy since there may be more information than the courthouse record, will be glad to send what ever it costs to copy it. Wilhelm/William Balke was my great-uncle. Dora was his first wife; apparently his Dora had been married before because she had two girls when she married him, Mary & Amelia. They stayed with him when Dora died and he married Caroline Bunte Wente. They are listed in the census living with him. I always thought they belonged to his second wife, but apparently they didn't.
