My Lampe family settled in Baltimore. Peter Marcus Lampe b 1845 in Denmark, or the Schleswig Holstein portion of Denmark which became part of Germany around 1860s. His father's name was Peter Lampe. Peter Marcus married Anna Marie Anderson (Andersen) of the Danish mainland, possibly Copenhagen. He attended university in Berlin prior to immigrating to the US. His mother was Margaret Bull of Denmark. Peter Marcus and Anna Marie had four children; Martin Robert Amil Lampe, Thorwald Peter Lampe, Stany Lampe, and Elsie Lampe. He had a brother who was a Lutheran minister named William Lampe. Peter Marcus Lampe worked at the Haynes Pottery plant as a painter/decorator. Will like to work with other Lampe families to 'flesh out' more information regarding Danish/German Lampe families. Thank you
