Lamping surname Cin Ohio

I have found my Gr Gr Grandmoth Josephine Westjohn from Oldenburg Germany at age 18 living in the home of Fredrick Lamping age 36 also born Oldenburg Germany in the Hamilton co. Cin Ohio 1870 Census

I believe the Lamping may have been her maternal uncle or at least her sponser into the states.

The connection to the Lamping family continues into the next century.
Josephine grows up and Marries Henry Radeke they have two daughters first named Clara Paulins Fredrika Radeke,
Clara married Harry Gibson Bridge who had come from England befor he was 4 years old. When he married Clara his parents had already passed away. He had noone.

In the 1920 Census Harry Bridge and wife Clara live 2 doors away from the family of Julius Lamping 41 and his wife Catherine.

The elder Fredrick Lamping and Julius Lamping are both listed with the occupation of Plumber.
Harry Bridge is also listed as Plumber.

Could it be that Harry Bridge with out any family of his own adopted the family of his wife Clara as his own? would it not make sence that the men of the family would have educated Harry in the same profession?

If anyone has any information on Lamping, Westjohn from Oldenburg Germany to Cincinnati Ohio please e-mail me.
