I am searching for information on my gg grandmother, Catherine Lamotte, the spouse of Laurent Billotte. She was born 27 May, 1808 but I am not sure where or who her parents are. One source lists the Lamottes as originating in Fays Billot, France, another, in Malvilers, both in Haute Saone. Church records indicate that some of their children were born in Courchaton, Haute Saone, France. Laurent and Catherine arrived in America in the 1830's and settled in Frenchville, PA on a parcel of land that had been purchased in France. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks to anyone who can help.
