Bonjour,
This message will be in english if you do prefer to communicate in French, (C'est ma langue principale) let me know.
I read a great part of your notes and I find myself fortunate to have done so.
My interest lies with a Lamontagne Lady possibly called Julie, I say possibly because after many years of searching, I have learned little about her.
This is what I know.
First, I have completed he greatr part of my family tree, using Le centre d'archives nationales du Québec and La Biblitotèque Centrale de Montréal.
In the region of Ormstown or St Edouard de Napierreville, Edouard Dumesnil seems to have married Julie? Lamontagne. I have no confirmation of this union. Edouard Dumesnil was my great grandfather so we can estimate the marriage to have taken place around 1885. They had at least three children, Henri, Annette and Clara. My quest is to confirm who married Edouard Dumesnil and when. If he was married to Julie ? Lamontagne, any information on her parents whould be very usefull.
We did look at archives in ormstown, Huntingdon and hinchinbrooke and found nothing.
I thank you reading me.
Au revoir.
Marc Dumesnil
