Searching for info on Margaret Black Lamont who married who married James Lamont in Portglenone, Co., Antrim in Feb 1859. they had several children listed below;
(1) Mary Jane Lamont, born 15 January 1870 in Portglenone
> (2) James Lamont, born 25 February 1871 in Portglenone
> (3) Mary Lamont, born 30 June 1873 in Portglenone immagrated to Watervliet, NY and married a William Richmond.
> (4) Sarah Lamont, born 26 January 1876, who also immag to Watervliet, NY and married a David Robinson.
> (5) Elizabeth Lamont McIntyre (?) who was believe was born in 1868 and was living in the Watervliet area as well.
I am related through Mary Lamont Richmond - therefore Margaret would be my great great grandmother. Any info on her and her family would be greatly appreciated. I believe they were married in 1859,James' father was William and a weaver, Marys' father was Robert. Records show they were living in the township of Moyboy.
I am descended through Mary Lamont and William Richmond.
