Hi Dee! My Granndmother's maiden name was Ellen Marie Lamkin. Her Mother's maiden name was Pratt. Grandma (Lamkin) Lyons was born in Belleville, Michigan (very close to Monroe County line) in 1892. She married my Grandfather, William N. Lyons in 1910. I have a copy of Grandma's Mother's obituary, 1943, which lists all her children as well as her husband, George Lamkin. It is too cumbersome to attach to a forum posting. Please contact me and I will EMail it to you. I found some Lamkins who fought for the Union from Monroe County in the Civil War. There must be a connection between our families.
