I am not sure of the relationship of this Lamkin I have found in Michigan to mine from Kansas Both started in Highgate and NY.
But they are both at the same cemetary in Whatcom Co. Washington.
Isabella died Feb 8, 1806
And Alonzo Lamkin June 19, 1904 his wife
Harrietta June 26, 1913
Two possible sons
Jessie J. Lamkin d Jan 9, 1941
Willis B. Lamkin d. June 18, 1946
I found them in Grant, Mason County, Michigan in the 1880 Census
If its the same as in Dr Harold Wilkins book, it could be that p. 206 Job Northrup Lamkins son Nathan son Alonza. No age listed. in book. Only they had three children listed in 1850 ceneus in Kalamzoo Co, Mich.
Would be interested in learning more about the Michigan Lampkins.
