I don not have much information on this lady, but believe she is the daughter of Thomas Lamkin & Judith Dickinson. My information comes from this source:

Thompson, Jeannette R. "The History of the Town of Stratford, New Hampshire 1773-1925". 1925, The Rumford Press, Concord, New Hampshire.

The Lamkins seem to have moved frequently between the new England states, and many of them were temporarily in Canada, primarily due to the access to low or no cost land.

There is a very new Lamkin genealogy, published by NEHGS, which traces this family back to Virginia (preponderance of evidence), but there is nothing more on this couple. The author may have more, and I can provide his name to you.

My branch somehow inserted a "b" in the name: Lambkin -- in about 1800, and we have kept it ever since. My grandmother was a Lambkin, her father came from Canada, but his family came out of MA, into NH, thence into VT. I think there was a stopover in CT, as I recall. The areas are very close together.

Margaret Ernest
