I can't find a meaning for the use of in-brother here. Or have you already found it?
I think that the William Laming mentioned may be part of my family tree though. I know that he was a carpenter / undertaker in Canterbury and through a very loose link at the moment, that he may have worked for the church at some time. I assume this corrody would be in part or full payment for such work.
