I talked to my grandfather and he said that he has heard of your connection from two
different sources but does not know where the connection fits. Can you give me the names of your grandparents? My Great-Grandfathers name was James Alexander Lamey. I forgot to ask Pa what
James Alexander Lamey's parents name was but I will call again tonight. Ill also have a browse through that book tonight. Quirky fact: Apparently the Lamey's came to with Ray Martins Ansestors! Anyways, I know that the Lamey's originally came from France, then some moved to Ireland and from there three brothers came to Australia. 2 we can trace but the 3rd just disappeared. In Perth I think it was there is a WWI Memorial where there is a Lamey, but I can't find the trace of where it came from. Maybe someone on your side does? Anyway, I would love to chat with you. Why don't you write to me instead of posting messages? jennifer.lamey@abol.net. I will be down your way in a couple of weeks if you want to have a good look at the book. Anyway, talk soon. Jen
