Daniel was a son of Andreas Lambrecht/Lamprecht -- both spellings are found. His baptism shows up in the records of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Red Hill, Montgomery County, Pa. in Nov 1750.No relation to Nicholas that I know of.
From Genealogical Abstracts of Revolutionary War Pension Files Vol II: F - M, Abstracted by Virgil D. White:
"LAMBRECHT, Daniel, S8815, PA Line, sol lived in Bucks Co. PA at enl, appl 7 Mar 1834 Fairfield Co OH, sol was b in 1749 in Philadelphia co PA, after the Rev he moved to Fredericktown MD then moved to near Sheppardstown VA & about 1812 he moved to Fairfield Co OH."
Descendants of Daniel, at least in Ohio, used the name Longbrake.Descendants of his brothers John and Henry used Lambright.I descend from John, through his son John b. 1795, and most of my research is in that branch.
Henry was also in Fredericktown -- early enough to have his son John baptized there May 3, 1778 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The 1790 census for Frederick County has 8 Soundex equivalents for Lambrecht including Lambert (5), Lenport, Limbreek, and Lombrick.None of them are Lambrecht, Lambright, or Longbrake, but there's little doubt that at least some of them descend from Andreas.
The 1800 census for Frederick County has 7 Soundex equivalents including Lambrech, Lambert (3), Lambertt, and Lambright (2).
The 1800 census for Virginia was lost.
