Job Lamborn, 1799 Chester County
In the Lamborn Family History book I have, there is very little information on Job Lamborn. He was a Quaker who felt so strongly about slavery that he put aside his convictions against war and was elected a colonel in a Pennsylvania regiment of the Union army during the Civil War.My oldest son shares his name and I would like someday to tell him a lot about this man -- the first and only Lamborn I know off to be in the US military until I enlisted in 1992.I believe he later moved on to Ohio.I'm from the branch that stayed in Chester Co., in West Grove, PA.Please feel free to post or e-mail me at [email protected] or [email protected].
In Christs Name,
Jay
