Searching for any information on my g-grandmother Adele. She was born in France in 1874 (she listed on U.S. census). Her parents were born in France as well. She came to this country in 1894. One listing that we have is that she was born in St. Pierre et Miquelon (that is questionable). Settled in the Boston MA area (Charlestown).
First married a Charles A Edgerly in 1895 then to a Robert J Slaney around 1901 - my great grandfather.
I know that names got corrupted in immigration or in general - We have her surname as DeLambley - but that does not exist in search. She was always known my Adele D. Slaney - so the De part of the last name could just be a miss.
Children from Edgerly: George, Louis, Joseph
Children from Slaney: Matilda, Robert
She died in Seattle WA - 1950
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
