I am trying to find information on my gr-gr-grandfather, John Walter Lamble, born aprox. 1829. I know he was married to Elizabeth Parry in 1854 and had several children (9 that I have found so far) including my gr-grandfather, Richard Stanley Lamble. I have not, however, been able to find any information on John's family (parents, brothers, sisters...). The most I could find is from the 1881 census showing John being born in Bristol. I am fairlly new at doing this research, and I have very few writen documents from my side of the family, so any help would be great.
