Hi Matthew

I only just found this web site and I've been fascinated reading about all the other Lambles.

My father is a Lambel and his father was Arnold Edward Blythe Lamble. i believe that 'Blythe' was an old family name, although in our bit of the family it hasn't survived past my grandfather.

My grandfathers paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother were brother and sister so his parents were cousins. One of his aunts was called Blythe, pronounced as Blyth-ee.

Regards

Penny Reid (nee Lamble)
