We have been looking for the Lambie family for such a long time!!!! We think that your James Lambie married our Mary Agnes Aber in Allegheny CO, PA. They moved to Kansas after the Civil War She died somewhere around Leavenworth. Do you know if they had children? She was Rachel Elliot Aber Ross's sister. Would like to share more info. Did see that there was a JAmes LAmbie in the Civil War records of Allegheny CO or maybe PA volunteers.
