Hi, I am trying to track back past a John Lambie married to Barbara Smith in 1792 who was the father of Alexander Lambie who was born in 1793 and died in 1877, married to (1) Jane Thompson (2) Susan Kilpatrick. I note that you are trying to trace Jessie Lambie. There was a Jean Lambie who married a William Young on 11th Feb 1782 in Kilmarnock District which is close to Auckenleck. Might this be the 'Jessie' you are looking for.
