I am a descendant of Shadrach Lambeth also.My lineage is as follows:
1Robert Lambeth, 2John Lambeth, 3John David Lambeth, 4Samuel Lambeth, 5Josiah Lambeth, 6Shadrach Lambeth, 7Elizabeth Lambeth Hale, 8Sarah Francis Hale Maxwell, 9James Franklin Maxwell, 10Frank H. Maxwell.
I also have the lineage back from Elizabeth Loftin, wife of Josiah Lambeth:
1Leonard Loftin, 2Cornelius Loftin, 3Leonard Loftin, 4Benoni Loftin, 5Thomas Loftin, 6Elizabeth Loftin Lambeth.
I have info from another researcher who found the info in an out-of-print book, "The Lambert/Lambeth Family of North Carolina", that Elizabeth Lambert married Eli Hale 2 Feb 1837 and moved to Missouri or Texas.
The following info came from another researcher:
C. (H.?) A. HALE was born Abt. 1815 in NC, and died Bet. 1860 - 1870 in prob. MO.He married ELIZABETH.She was born Abt. 1820 in NC.
Notes for C.(H.?) A. HALE:
1850 census for Barry Co., MO -- No Hale is listed in all 80 pages.
------
1860 census, Sugar Creek, Barry, MO (page 9)
Hale, C. A.45m farmer $4,000.00 $1,000.00 NC
Elizabeth 40f NC
James M.21m farm laborer NC
Nancy J.19f NC
Mary E.17f MO
Sarah F.12f MO
Samuel9m MO
E. A.5m MO
(The C. A. Hale could also read H. A. Hale, very hard to understand the census takers handwriting)
--End of other researcher's notes--
Since the "C" (as in C. A. Hale) could also read "H", I believe that it could also read "E" for Eli.
Elizabeth Lambert married Eli Hale 2 Feb 1837.Their son, James M. Hale was 21 when the 1860 census was taken. Therefore, James M. was born in 1838 or 1839.This would be quite logical since Eli and Elizabeth were married in 1837.
I have much more info that I can share.
I am particularly looking for additional information about my great grandmother, Elizabeth Lambeth Hale and her husband, my great grandfather, Eli A. Hale.
