Sorry it has taken me so long to reply.
I don't have any knowledge beyond my own New Zealand branch of the family.
Have you tried contacting Eric William Lamberton at ukroots@yahoo.com.
He has a very interesting family history outline, including a family coat of arms.
The Lamberton Family that I belong to, arrived in New Zealand on 31 August, 1874 on an immigrant ship "Strathnaver".
The group consisted of Janet Lamberton (snr) aged 60, widowed; her eldest son Thomas,aged 34, his wife Mary, and their two children;her second eldest son Joseph, aged 29, his wife Elizabeth, and their three children; her youngest son William, aged 23, single and her only daughter Janet (Jnr) aged 21, also single.
My family are descended from Joseph and Elizabeth.
Hope this gives you some idea, where we are.
