Mary, my grandfather was Joseph Henry Lamberth of Tallasse, Eclectic and other towns in Alabama. My uncle traces our line to a John Luke Lamberth and said we go back to 1732. He states that we are of English ancestry, but my father told me we were of Iristh ancestry.
I found out that some Lamberts added the h ,but Iwonder if some Lamberths dropped the h.
Please answer and thanks!
