I am researching the Lambert family from Ohio and Indiana.
I only have back to Ulysses S. Lambert (born about 1835) who married Isabel Glass (born about 1837). I think they were both born in Ohio, but they could have been born in Indiana or another place. They had at least seven children: Helen (my husband’s great, great grandma), Martha, Benjamin, Jessie, William, Ida, and Harry. My husband’s grandmother Helen’s middle name was Marr. I don’t know if that could also be another name in the tree you might be able to match up.
Ulysses and Isabel Lambert lived in Addison Twp., Shelby County, Indiana at one time. This is where their daughter Helen was born. I am assuming her parents were both Ulysses and Isabel. I have her being born seven years before her siblings. The rest of their children were born in Ohio. I have them living in Whitewater Twp., Hamilton Co., Ohio by 1870.
Any help would greatly be appreciated. I am having a tough time going back any further.
