Further to 'Castle Ellen' - my last of Jan '08. Peter Lambert c.B 1787 d.1844 m. to Mary Louise Carroll b.1788 -d. The above was a direct descendant of the Major-General John Lambert 1619 to 1684 who was Oliver Cromwell's Chief-of-Staff during the English Civil War. The Major-General's elder son, also named John, ( of five children three boys and two girls, ) lived well into the early 1700's, a Peter and Mary were born at the late end of the same Century.
