Hi Carol, I'm not sure if this is going to help. It's a long explanation, bear with me. Many of the LaMarine, or Lamarines from Quebec descended from the Routet family. Their name was Routet dit Lamarine. I have a fair amount of info on the Routets as my ggg-grandmother was Catherine Routet. Sometime in the 1800's about half the family took on the Lamarine name and the others kept the Routet name.
I have a Louis Routet married to Julienne Broudeur dit Lavigne in Marieville, Rouville County Quebec on 29 April 1844. The reason I'm writing is because they had a daughter named Priscilla married to Octave Roy 28 January 1861 in St. cesaire, Rouville County Quebec.
